Ardent Blue Technologies LLC (“Company” or “We“) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes:

  • The types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you purchase, download, install, access, or use Wordability (the “App“).
  • Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This policy applies only to information we collect in this App and in email, text, and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with this App.

This policy DOES NOT apply to information that:

  • We collect offline or on any other Company apps or websites, including websites you may access through this App.
  • You provide to or is collected by any third party (see Third-Party Information Collection).

Our websites and apps, and these other third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use this App. By downloading, registering with, or using this App, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of this App after we revise this policy means you accept those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

Children Under the Age of 16

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you are a parent and believe that your child under the age of 16 has accessed and/or used the Services and provided personally identifiable information to us, please contact us at: nwprivacy@ardentblue.com. This in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect information from and about users of our App:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.
  • Automatically when you use the App.

Information You Provide to Us

When you download or use this App, we give you the option to provide us with certain personal information such as your name or any other identifier or data relating to you by which you could be identified (“Personal Data”).

This information includes:

  • Information that you provide us directly by filling in forms in the App such as your name. Note that if you provide you name, it will be visible to other players.
  • The code to join your game online. Technically, we generate this code. However you can opt to share your game code with other players which allows them to join your game within the App. We do this by allowing you to copy the game code, exit the App and send the code through the third-party messaging service of your choice. Note that the messaging service’s processing of your information is subject to their privacy policy and not ours.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses and phone numbers), if you contact us including data generated by you during a customer support request.

Automatic Information Collection and Tracking

When you download, access, and use the App, it may use technology to automatically collect:

  • User ID. When you access and use the App, we may automatically collect your screen name, handle, account ID, assigned user ID, advertiser id, customer number or other user or account level ID that can be used to identify a particular user or Marketplace account. Marketplace refers to the application store where you purchase the App.
  • Usage Details. When you access and use the App, we may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of the App, including traffic data, coarse location data such as the country that you are located in, crash data, logs, performance data such as launch time, hang rate and energy use, other usage data such as your activity in the App, the ads that you click in the app and the resources that you access and use on or through the App.
  • Device Information. We may collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including the device’s unique device identifier, operating system, device model and hardware information (Memory, CPU, GPU related information, and system information).

If you do not want us to collect this information you may opt out at the launch of the App by following the instructions provided. For more information, see Your Choices About Our Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Your Information.

We also may use these technologies to collect information about your activities over time and across third-party websites, apps, or other online services for the purposes of targeted advertising (“Ad Tracking”). You are able to opt out of Ad Tracking at the launch of the game. When Ad Tracking is off, your Personal Data will not be collected but you will still be served ads. See below for more information on how you can opt out of Ad Tracking on or through this app.

Information Collection and Tracking Technologies

We do not use automated tracking technologies however the Third-Party Providers listed below may deploy automated tracking technologies such as mobile cookies through the App. For more information about who these Third Party Providers are and their data processing practices see below.

Third-Party Information Collection

Some features of the App are served by third parties. When you use the App or its content, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device. These third parties include:

  • Advertisers, ad networks, and ad servers.
  • Analytics companies.
  • Your mobile device manufacturer.
  • Your mobile service provider.
  • Social media platform providers that you link to via the App.
  • Messaging service providers who you use in connection with sharing your game code.

These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use this app. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, and other online services websites. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

Your Third Party Messaging Services – When you use the App features which allow you to provide us with feedback or to invite others to join your game by sharing your online game code, the App permits you to use one of the third party messaging services on your device, such as your email provider, mobile carrier text service, or other third party messaging applications. We do not collect any information in connection with such messaging as it is done outside of the App. The information collected by these third party messaging services is subject to their privacy policies.

Our Social Accounts – When you interact with us on our social media accounts, for example, Facebook, Twitch, Instagram, Discord, TikTok and Twitter, the information collected is governed by the privacy policies of the relevant social media platform.

How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, to:

  • Provide you with the App and its contents, and any other information, products, or services that you request from us.
  • Provide you with customer support.
  • Optimize, develop, personalize and improve the App.
  • Understand, optimize and improve the effectiveness of our marketing efforts related to the App.
  • Respond to your correspondence if you contact us.
  • Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
  • Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
  • Notify you when App updates are available, and of changes to any products or services we offer or provide though it.
  • To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the App, databases and other technology assets.
  • To comply with legal obligations, and to respond to legal process or inquiries from authorities.
  • For any reason that we described to you when collecting your personal information or for any reason for which you’ve provided us with your consent.
  • To protect the rights, interests, and safety of us, you, and any third parties, and to exercise and defend our rights.
  • To create anonymous, de-identified, or aggregated datasets. Such datasets would not be “Personal Information” subject to this Privacy Policy. We may use anonymous, de-identified, or aggregated datasets for any purpose.

The usage information we collect helps us to improve our App and to deliver a better and more personalized experience by enabling us to:

  • Estimate our audience size, demographics and usage patterns.
  • Store your audio preferences, tracking consents and other user settings locally on your device.
  • Comply with your tracking consents.
  • Understand how well App features are working and whether players are getting stuck or having issues.
  • Identify and correct software defects.

We use location information we collect to determine if there are any App defects or gameplay issues associated with a specific local and to gauge how ads are performing in various locations.

We may use the information we collect to display advertisements to our advertisers’ target audiences. Even though we do not disclose your personal information for these purposes without your consent, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may assume that you meet its target criteria.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual without restriction.

In addition, we may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Ardent Blue Technologies LLC’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Ardent Blue Technologies LLC about our App users is among the assets transferred.

  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
  • To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including the App EULA, and for billing and collection.
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ardent Blue Technologies LLC, our customers, or others.

Your Choices About Our Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. This section describes mechanisms we provide for you to control certain uses and disclosures of over your information.

  • Managing Unity Analytics and Unity Ads tracking. You can specifically manage the data collected by our third party service provider, Unity, by going to the Settings page within the App and clicking the “Click to manage Unity Analytics Privacy Options” link.
  • Disabling Ad tracking. Additionally, you can disable ad tracking by going to the Settings page within the App and clicking the green “Ad tracking button”. This button allows you to toggle Ad tracking on and off.
  • Using your Phone’s Privacy Settings. You may also be able to opt out of tracking at any time through your phone’s security and privacy settings.
  • Third Party Options. We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information. However these third parties may provide you with additional ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in certain ways (such as for the purpose of serving interest-based advertising). For more information about the third parties that collect data through the App, see the “Third Party Information Collection” section above to understand which third parties have access to your personal information through the App. You can consult their privacy policies to see if they offer additional options for limiting collection.

Data Rights of European Residents

The laws of the European Economic Area and other territories provide their residents with certain data protection rights. If you are resident of the European Economic Area, these are your rights:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request Company provide you with copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Company to complete information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to be forgotten – You have the right to request that Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Company’ processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Data Security

All Personal Data collected via the App is encrypted and stored securely in the United States using third-party vendors who implement industry standard security measures. Your information is kept only for the length of time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected. By using the Services, you authorize us to receive, process, transfer, and store your information in and to the United States.

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure by partnering with third parties who use industry standard security measures to protect your information.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. If you do not wish your name to be publicly viewable please do not provide your name in the App. If you do not wish us to have access to the friend’s list please do not use the features that allow you to link your social media accounts to the App.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through our App. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will post the new privacy policy on this page with a notice that the privacy policy has been updated.
